Continuously Payable Increasing Annuities is not on the syllabus therefore is totally useless. In the next section (Compound Increasing Annuities) of the same Unit, they used letter 'e' to represent the increasing factor to separate from the letter 'k' used in the text book. This is a very bad choice since 'e' is normally reserved for natural logarithm.
